Building A Sweat Lodge
Can I heat up sweat lodge rocks in the kitchen oven?
I’m building a sweat lodge in the backyard and fires are not permitted. Do you think my oven (at 450 deg. F) will heat up the rocks sufficiently?

THe temperature is hot enough but you may not have the volume you need.
Most ovens will get a lot hotter than 450F if you just put the broiler on and leave it on. It probably is a stupid thing to do for long but you can.
