Do the Mayans believe in crystal skulls and think a spiritual change will happen in 2012?
I never knew this but the Mayans have their own high council of Elders that have political influence in Mexico and Guatemala. These high ranking mayan officials are going on a pilgrimage across the USA with the 13 Crystal skulls that will help bring about the shift in material and spiritual consciousness. So something will happen when the calender ends.
The crystal skulls were made in Europe a little less than 200 years ago – most probably in Germany, based on the type of crystal and on the tools used for the carving.
The Mayan calendar (the one used in the Big 2012 Hoax) does not end. It is a day-count calendar that… counts the days.
Today’s date = 1 + yesterday’s date.
It could not end even if it tried.
José Argüelles is the one who invented the lie (that the calendar ends) back in 1987. The reason it was called a “sacred Mayan prophecy” is that José had declared himself (in a book, in 1972) to be a reincarnated Mayan god – even though many of us already knew he was born in Minnesota.
The real Mayans were just as surprised as everybody else.
However, they have recently seen the high potential for tourist dollars, associated with all the popularity of the “Mayan predictions” associated with the Big 2012 Hoax. So they are playing along.
If you check their tourist web sites, you will note that they require all visitors to have return tickets before they are being allowed into Mexico. They don’t want to be stuck with retards who actually believe all this crap.
